What we use and what we know RVR PHOTOGRAPHY uses Canon professional DSLR camera bodies and Canon professional grade lenses in the studio and on location. We carry spare camera bodies and flash units as well as lenses to cover all the angles. No need to worry about a missed opportunity or that special image with RVR. We carry several bags with all the necessary cameras, flashes, lenses, tripods, stands, light modifiers, meters and more 8 gigabyte cards than we will ever need for an event! Although we have never needed it, we carry liability and equipment insurance! Why do we do that? Because we are professionals and we like to be prepared for any unforeseen events and make sure you are covered and your memories are safe. We use White Lightning flash units in our studio with a combination of overhead tracks and floor stands. We have a variety of backdrops and a movable wall system that allows us to use many materials to create your image. No matter what the situation, we have you covered! For post production work we use Macs loaded with the latest version of Adobe Photoshop, LightRoom, and an arsenal of software too long to list! We have hardware for monitor, camera and printer calibration. Our files are backed up on location and copies kept at another location. We have terabytes of storage and backups gallore! For in-house printing, we use an Epson 9800 wide format printer that allows us to print on high quality photographic papers and canvas in sizes as big as 44 inches by 100 feet! For our flushmont albums, we use a local lab located in Kansas City. We support local vendors and feel it is one small way to be "green"! No shipping cross country for us when we have one of the best labs in the country right in our back yard. Having equipment is great! Knowing how to use it even better! Richard is a graduate from the New York Institute of Photography where he won a Dean's Award for his photography. He is a member of The Professional Photographer's Association and The National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Richard is an affiliated photographer for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization and he also captured weddings for one of the country's largest wedding photography providers and attends training each year to keep abreast of the latest developments in photographic equipment and processes.
